Torneos, the leading company in the sports entertainment industry, is the only South American firm that will provide production services at the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from June 15 to July 13 in the United States.

For the most important club event of the year, the company will coordinate a deployment featuring more than 50 personnel from the operations and production departments working on-site in the United States.

Torneos will be in charge of programming for DSPORTS, which will broadcast all matches in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela, offering the pan-regional coverage it typically provides for major events. It will feature dedicated mobile units for news regarding Boca Juniors and River Plate, and will provide special coverage of Latin American players participating in the tournament.

DSPORTS programs will utilize augmented reality to highlight match countdowns, player and team comparison tables, and more. Torneos also developed the network’s comprehensive graphics package for the tournament, based on the official FIFA Club World Cup aesthetic.

Additionally, Torneos will:

  • Co-produce all Boca and River matches for Telefé, as well as a daily special show hosted by Juan Pablo Varsky and Pablo Giralt.

  • Assign dedicated teams to cover the latest developments from the Boca and River camps.

  • Provide technical and production services for all matches broadcast on-site by Disney+, as well as live segments from the United States for ESPN shows.

Torneos continues to hold a prominent role in major football events, such as the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Last year, it provided services for major South American networks during the CONMEBOL Copa América and was also responsible for the production of the CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana finals.
