The podcast “La Primera Jugada” arrives on Spotify with Torneos and Olé production

The first daily sports news podcast in Argentina arrives on the platform hosted by Verónica Brunati and Emiliano Pinsón. The agreement between the companies emerges as an innovative response to the need for new formats in sports content.


Spotify, the leading global audio platform together with Torneos and Olé, leaders in the generation of sports and entertainment content, present "La Primera Jugada", the first daily podcast of sports information in Argentina.

In an original Spotify production, Torneos and Olé will together develop, each with their main strengths, the content for this new format.

“In recent years, the consumption of sports news has been changing towards a non-linear model where each person can choose the best time to get information, and the podcast meets that need. We found in Torneos and Olé the perfect alliance to bring people a product of journalistic quality and a unique sports experience”, says Javier Piñol, Director of Spotify Studios LATAM & US Latin.

The podcast La Primera Jugada will be hosted by two sports journalists with great experience. On the one hand, Verónica Brunati, an all-terrain soccer content creator, who began her rise to cover the National Team and the Premier League, worked in more than 30 countries for international media and covered two World Cups and six editions of the America Cup. On the other hand, Emiliano Pinsón, who throughout his career covered Copa Libertadores finals, two youth world cups, four World Cups and two Olympic Games, in addition to his time on Radio La Red, Radio 10, Mega 98.3 and Metro 95.1 , the Fox Sports screen, and currently ESPN. La Primera Jugada can be heard from Monday to Friday from March 7 on Spotify, and promises to be the daily share of all the information from the world of sports, with the narrative that characterizes the digital platform.
